about me
For over a decade, Sarah has served as an Islamic studies instructor, women’s fiqh teacher, and Qur'an educator, working with Muslim women navigating the intersections of faith, family, and everyday life. Her teaching centers on making Islamic scholarship accessible, practical, and deeply relevant to the lived realities of contemporary Muslim women.
She is also the co-host of the She Should Know podcast, where she extends this mission to a global audience, offering Muslim women clarity on matters of health, spirituality, and self-care. Sarah lives in Dallas with her husband and three children.

Sarah Ahmed is an Islamic scholar, author, and co-director of EmpowHer Health, a Muslim women’s health and faith community organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She holds an alimiyyah degree from Dar al-Ulum al-Madania New York.
